Wanting to be a cornerman for founders led me towards the venture space, so I am grateful to have found a home where investments are predicated on corporate partnerships that are valuable to founding teams.
My focus at TechNexus is to be an innovation catalyst between entrepreneurs and established corporations. In the investment process, I source startups, understand their unique role in the market, and connect them to capital. For corporate partners, I work to understand their innovation goals and connect them to early-stage companies that address their needs.
Prior to TechNexus, I helped launch a handful of startups out of a venture studio in Memphis, where I ultimately focused on founding and scaling an alcohol delivery platform across the Southern US. There, I developed an interest in highly regulated markets, the founders that run towards them, and the communities they build.
I’m a proud alum of Rhodes College, where I studied Philosophy and Political Economy with capstone theses on topics within metaethics. Outside of work, you can find me exploring the city or cheering for any underdog that isn’t playing against the New Orleans Saints or Memphis Grizzlies.
I grew up as an Army brat, and encourage any current or transitioning innovation-minded veterans to reach out regarding their next move.
