One of the most significant facets of TechNexus that has drawn me in is the network of incredible individuals that I have had the good fortune to make a part of my life in my time here, thus far. TNVC nurtures growth, not only at an organization-wide scale, but on an individual basis as well. To say that people who I’ve met here are innovative and forward-thinking is an understatement!
Although my official title is Production Coordinator, I have a wide variety of responsibilities and duties at TechNexus Venture Collaborative. Pre-COVID, I worked on all manner of facilities issues that arose including (but not limited to) IT & Network Set-up & Troubleshooting, Event Production & Management, Potential Tenant Tour Guiding, Live Audio/Visual Production, and Podcast Studio Development. Post-COVID, I have been working (mostly) remote assisting the Venture Team on the back-end of our industry with CRM Admin. duties such as list development for corporate prospecting, market research, and data analytics.
I graduated from the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, focusing on Advertising & PR in 2011. I also received my Master’s Degree from DePaul University in Audio Production in the College of Media & Cinema Studies in 2019. During my time pursuing these degrees, I have held leadership roles in my Social Fraternity, Phi Kappa Theta and participated in several philanthropic events for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Music has always been a major passion of mine, so when I’m not playing bass or jamming out to some funk/blues tunes, I enjoy camping out in nature or watching the Chicago Blackhawks hit the ice.
