Moderator: Jerry Quandt, Executive Director, Illinois Autonomous Vehicles Association
Jerry Quandt is the Executive Director of the Illinois Autonomous Vehicles Association. The Association is a privately funded, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of autonomous vehicle technologies within the State of Illinois. The organization's focus is to establish Illinois as the leader in the development, design, and application of the system-of-systems that will transform mobility as we know it.
Jerry has worked most of his career in marketing and business transformation in a variety of verticles. His passion is to continue to create consumer-centric solutions leveraging bleeding-edge technologies to increase people's quality of life.
Mike Mackey, CTO, CENTRI
Mike Mackey is the CTO at CENTRI, responsible for the continued leadership and development of the company's IoT security solutions. Mike brings tremendous depth and experience leading teams that build market-leading products, and his strong customer focus is one of the keys to the continued growth of CENTRI. Prior to CENTRI, Mike was the director of engineering and architecture at SNAPin Software (acquired by Nuance), defining and architecting mobile self-service solutions. At CENTRI, Mike heads up a team of highly productive software engineers to design and develop innovative, enterprise-grade solutions. Past organizational affiliations include Qpass (acquired by Amdocs) and Cobalt.
Rafael Salmi, Global President & GM, Richardson RFPD
Dr. Rafael Salmi is a technology executive with a proven track record of profitable revenue growth and global P&L management. He has a solid experience in successfully building and transforming organizations. Having been based in North America, South America, Europe and spent extensive time in Asia has resulted in better understanding of Global Markets. Currently, Dr. Salmi is Global President and GM for Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Company focusing on RF, Wireless and IoT technologies, prior to that he was Vice President Latin America and Managing Director EMEA at Arrow Electronics; Regional Sales Manager for EXFO Europe and Fiber Optics Business Manager at Molex.
Dr. Salmi holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Physics, a Master Degree of Instrumentation and Measurement and Bachelor of Science from Joseph Fourier University, Grenoble, France.
Monali Shah, Director, Intelligent Transportation, HERE Technologies
A passionate leader with more than 15 years experience in location technology, Monali drives positive impact for enterprises, people and society through breakthrough innovation, strategy development and execution. As the Director of Intelligent Transportation at HERE Technologies, she led a team focused on using data and technology to create next generation mobility solutions. She serves on the board of CityTech Collaborative and is an advisor to cities and transportation agencies. Monali has held senior roles at Nokia, NAVTEQ and HERE and has degrees from University of Chicago and University of Michigan.
